Verify if a website has a recognized Consent Management Platform (CMP) installed.

A banner isn't enough.

Having a cookie banner visible on your site is only step one of GDPR compliance. The critical requirement is that tracking scripts must be blocked from firing until the user explicitly clicks "Accept".

How Tracefox verifies consent:

  • We load the page in a clean, headless browser without prior cookies.
  • We observe network requests before any interaction with the banner.
  • If we detect Facebook Pixel, Google Analytics, or other marketing trackers firing at this stage, the site is non-compliant, regardless of whether a banner is shown.
